To schedule an appointment for a lab service, please call our office at 252-777-3153, email Info@VitalTouchonwheels.net or complete an online appointment request form.

The specific expectations for a lab service will depend on the type of test being performed. Generally, we need an order from your doctor for all blood tests, as we will deliver the specimen to the lab or your doctor office for testing.

We offer Adult & Pediatric CPR, First Aide, and Blood Borne Pathogen Training for healthcare workers, individuals and groups.

Medication Administration training is only available to facilities. We will come to your facility to train your employees:  

• 15-hour Med Tech for assisted living, group homes, adult care homes, mental health facilities 
• 24-hour Med Aide for nursing homes

We service all of Wilson County and a 50 mile radius surrounding.

Our mobile phlebotomy service fee is included in our standard pricing.

Additional fees may apply for mileage exceeding our service area:

• Distances beyond a 50 miles radius of Wilson County will be subject to additional mileage costs at the current IRS standard mileage rate of 0.67 cents per mile. 

If you will be getting blood drawn, please ensure you are well hydrated.

If you are a difficult stick, applying heat to the area could aide in a successful blood draw on the first stick. Our technicians are experienced with more than 19 years of skill experience. Please be confident in knowing you are in great hands.

Documents needed:

• Picture ID
• Insurance card (we do not bill insurance; however, this information may be needed by the lab processing your specimen.
• Doctor order or any relevant paperwork   

Note: Documents must be received in our office 24hrs before your scheduled appointment to avoid cancellation. PET POLICY: For the safety of our technicians, all pets must be secured prior to service being rendered. If you are unable to adhere to this request, your appointment may be cancelled.  

In most cases Insurance does not pay for outpatient collection and transporting of lab work. In some cases, they may pay a small portion for outpatient lab collection resulting in the client receiving a bill at a later date.

At this time, Vital Touch Lab & Medical Training does not accept insurance.

**Payment for services is due prior to your appointment. You will receive a link via email two hours before your appointment to process your payment. 

We accept the following forms of payment to be collected at the time of your service:

• Credit / Debit Card 
• FSA/HSA
• PayPal
• After Pay (Pay in 4 bi-weekly installments)
• Klarna (Pay in 4 bi-weekly installments)
