Job description

Join our dynamic team as a qualified Mobile Phlebotomist PRN at Vital Touch Lab & Medical Training. Provide accurate and timely lab tests in the comfort of a patient's home, assisted living facility, nursing home, workplace or other environment as requested. In this vital role, the mobile phlebotomist will contribute to the client's overall health and well-being.

Duties:

• Travel to client homes to collect blood and other specimens for testing. 
• Follow all necessary protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and timely specimen collection and labeling. 
• Label specimens with proper Identifiers, ensuring HIPAA policies are adhered to at all times.
• Transport specimens to laboratory or designated shipper.
• Protect yourself and your patients by adhering to all safety and infection control protocols. 
• Provide client with a positive and comfortable experience by maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion. 
• Make sure clients understand procedures and are able to ask questions effectively using strong communication skills. 
• Collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure coordination of client's care.
• Maintain detailed records of all specimens collected.
• Maintain competence of the most current phlebotomy techniques and best practices to continuously provide the highest quality of care. 
• Be commitment to Vital Touch Lab & Medical Training's mission to offer the highest quality of medical service while providing convenience and comfort in the medical experience. 

Requirements:

• Must have completed an accredited Phlebotomy training and active NHA certification. LPN must have an active unrestricted license on NCBON registry.
• 1 year of experience with specimen collector including venipuncture blood draws, nasal swabs, oral swabs, and fingerstick.
• Must be flexible and can independently manager own schedule.
• Valid driver's license
